<p>They say that the <a href="http://bellyfat.sifusay.com/">belly fat</a> tissue releases a hormone which is known as Neuropeptide Y (NPY). It stimulates the the development of cells that can be transformed into fat.</p>
<p>You may already know that your hunger is caused by the high amount of hormone in the brain.</p>
<p>In a lab test on rats, they want to find out the relationship between abdominal fat and NPY.</p>
<p>We have always assumed that when we have too much of NPY, we tend to eat more food. However, the result showed that the NPY in the stomach tissues multiplied the population of fat cells by triggering the replication of existing cells which later converted into fat cells.</p>
<p>Now they are studying if there is any possibility of the release of the NPY in the abdomen to the blood stream. Probably in future, scientists can find a way to switch off this hormone to overcome obesity.</p>
